Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) is an effective drug used to treat men who experience erectile dysfunction (sexual impotence). This medicine delays the enzymes called phosphodiesterases. In that way Viagra helps to achieve and maintain good erection during sexual stimulation.
Viagra Soft comes as a pill to be dissolved under the tongue. It works faster then Regular Viagra, as Viagra Soft is absorbed at the mouth and enters the bloodstream directly instead of going through the stomach. It is not necessary to wait up to 30-90 minutes to achieve the effect. Viagra Soft starts working within 15-20 minutes. Moreover, you can eat fatty food or mix alcohol drinks with Viagra.
You should not use Viagra Soft in case you have any condition mentioned below: you take nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, and others), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket). Nitrates are also found in some recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). Using Viagra with a nitrate medicine can lead to a serious decrease in blood pressure, leading to fainting, stroke, or heart attack.
A small number of patients is reported to have experienced a sudden loss of eyesight after using Viagra. It is caused by decreased blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye. It is not known whether Viagra is the actual reason of this loss of eyesight. It is more likely to have such a problem if you have heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems, and in those who smoke or are over 50 years old.
Be aware that Viagra may interact with some medicines.
